You are not alone anymore!
No matter what your problem with food — compulsive overeating, under-eating, food addiction, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, or overexercising — we have a solution.
The best way to connect and learn more is at a meeting. There are many different meetings on many times and days throughout the greater Atlanta region. Find Meetings in the Greater Atlanta Area Here (See Meetings, below, to learn more about what to expect.)
Are you a compulsive eater?
Wondering if OA might be the solution to your food and eating behaviors? Take our quiz to determine if you might be a compulsive eater.
Overeaters Anonymous is a Fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength, and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively.
There are no dues or fees for members; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations. OA is not affiliated with any public or private organization, political movement, ideology, or religious doctrine; we take no position on outside issues.
Our primary purpose is to abstain from compulsive eating and compulsive food behaviors and to carry the message of recovery through the Twelve Steps of OA to those who still suffer. Learn more in these FAQ’s.
Newcomers are welcome at all OA meetings: Find Meetings in the Greater Atlanta Area Here
A special Newcomers meeting is also held each month in an open question and answer format for anyone to attend. If you have questions and/or want more information, this is a great place to learn more! Speaker(s) shares experience, strength, and hope, followed by a time for questions and answers. All are welcome to attend.
