OA Meetings

YOU ARE NOT ALONE ANYMORE!Freedom and Hope

Overeaters Anonymous is a Fellowship of individuals who, through shared experience, strength, and hope, are recovering from compulsive overeating. We welcome everyone who wants to stop eating compulsively.

No matter what your problem with food — compulsive overeating, under-eating, food addiction, anorexia, bulimia, binge eating, or overexercising — we have a solution.

Meetings

Meetings are one of the most important tools of recovery. At meetings we find we share experience, strength and hope with others who suffer from this illness.

There are many different meetings at many times and days throughout the greater Atlanta region. Find Meetings in the Greater Atlanta Area Here

There are no dues or fees for members; we are self-supporting through our own contributions, neither soliciting nor accepting outside donations.

COVID-19 and Meetings

Due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic many meetings moved online. Some are still online and some are now moving back to in-person meetings or a hybrid of both.  Click on each meeting to see details. There are also  online or phone meetings world-wide.

The Greater Atlanta OA Intergroup office is open for meetings, as it has always been. Each meeting accepts the risk of meeting in person. Sanitization is at the discretion of the individual meeting.

The OA IG office offers two online accounts, funded by IG.  If your meeting is interested in using one of the accounts, at no charge to the individual meeting, please email your request to caoaig.secretary@gmail.com.  We’ll try to accommodate your request, while drastically reducing the cost of online meeting accounts for each meeting.

NOTE: Zoom links for meetings can be found in the meeting list.

Help Keep Our Lists Accurate

It is important to help people find a meeting!

Meeting Secretaries: please report any changes to your meeting listing to caoaig.secretary@gmail.com.  Be sure to also make changes on oa.org

Tips for Using Meeting Lists

From the Meeting List page, click on the name of the meeting to find details.

Each meeting will have a description showing location, Zoom details if relevant, and the meeting contact and phone number.

IMPORTANT: Even though a physical location may be listed, it is possible the group has not returned to meeting in person. Zoom links are in the details for each meeting. Feel free to call the contact person if you want to confirm the type and location of the meeting.

Note regarding the printable list: The printable list was never designed for long Zoom links or detailed phone information and you may find that it is missing some information or hard to read. Unfortunately, this is a situation over which we have no control. For accurate and detailed information, always use the online detail page (by clicking on the name, per the instructions above.)
