Remember that we are never asked to do anything except serve to the best of our abilities. We are never expected to be “experts”. Our traditions say we are “non-professional”.

• Representatives from your meeting to attend Intergroup: Attend the IG meeting online for 90 minutes once a month and report back to your group. Vote on behalf of your group when needed.

• Professional Outreach/Public Information (PIPO) workers: Contribute any skills – online or offline. Post to our Facebook and Instagram accounts. Work with the PIPO chair to find in-person or online ways we can share OA.

• Outreach – Contact each of our meetings once per quarter to learn of any changes to their meeting listings. Find out if there are any needs. Send details to the Board.

• Tech Coordinator and Zoom Hosts: Help make sure our tech positions (webmaster, zoom host) are filled (you don’t have to be a techie to do this!)  Be a Zoom host for our monthly meetings. It’s easy to learn how.

• Newcomers Meeting Host: Once a month, host a 90 minute meeting for newcomers – in-person (Midtown Atlanta) and online.  This is a place for people to ask questions and learn about OA. Ask other fellows to be speakers and be prepared to answer questions. This can be a shared responsibility.*

• Represent our Intergroup at Region and World Service. Connect with fellows around the world by representing us in Region 8 and/or World Service meetings. *

• Intergroup Co-Chair 2 – serve on the Board, helping to make decisions. Check the financial accounts to make sure they tally with the Treasurer report (it’s easy to do). Lead the Board meeting when the Co-Chair 1 is unavailable. Once a month IG meeting and Once a month Board meeting.  *

• Intergroup Co-Chair 1: Lead the monthly Board meeting and the monthly IG meeting, make annual filings, answer our phone, and other responsibilities.*
